Miami | New Fried Oreo Shop Launches: Fry Haus
Fry Haus is a new ghost kitchen concept running locally out of West Kendall, FL bringing a sugary twist to fried oreos to Tamiami and West Kendall residents. But what exactly is the Fry Haus about? We’re here to find out.
At Fry Haus, they only do fried oreos. That’s right! Their specialty is the deep fried treat we all know and love but can’t really find readily available anywhere. At least, not like this.
The confectionary owner, who goes by Gen says, “we spent months perfecting our frying process and recipes to create a truly exciting and delicious dessert experience.”
They’ve launched with an assortment of four flavors and have plans on launching even more! Starting with the classic regular fried Oreo known as Fried Oreos Clásicos; The Fried Bro-reo: A combination of Oreos and the best chocolate brownie; and Fruity Pebbles.
The Most Miami Fried Oreo we’ve ever tasted!
What started off as homemade treat quickly evolved when Gen came across an article by We are Mitú. The article titled, “15 Oreo Flavors that we Wish Existed” inspired what happened next. The small team at Fry Haus began mixing and testing to create one of the oreos on the list. The chosen specimen: guava and cheese.
What’s so special about Fry Haus is it seems they are community-tied and oriented. The business wants to achieve a level of success associated with combining traits, talents and business saavy to build essential community ties.
“We are proud to say that we will soon begin partaking in charitable events like, the Kings of the Courts soccer tournament in the summer of 2020. It’s important to me to engage with those around the community. Growing closer at every opportunity. Miami is my home.” says Gen.
The tournament hosted by Vice City 1896 is working with local Miami businesses to help raise funds for the Overtown Optimist Club.
Vice City 1896 is quickly rising in the ranks as a community leader. The “hardcore” supporters group is one of the three, leading the charge in cheering on Miami’s new soccer team, Inter Miami CF.
At the forefront of the new dessert shop’s to-do list are projects and collaborative efforts with other budding or established local businesses. Some discussions that are on-going involve craft breweries, local foodies and awarded bar owners. Currently, the Fry Haus is in the testing phase of the new flavors being worked on with collaborators.
If you find yourself in Miami-Dade County area, make sure to check out Fry Haus and try some of their delicous fried oreo desserts.
